to the first official UK Dropshipping Guide Newsletter.
We know that many of our readers run their own drop ship
web stores, so we thought in this issue we’d highlight
some additional ways that you can make money from your site.
If you’re working from or looking to run your own
online business from home, it’s important to establish
as many forms of residual income from your site as possible.
Here’s our top picks.
- If
you don’t already run Google Adsense, introduce
it as soon as possible. Google is a great way to earn
extra money from any site. It’s possible to make
as much as a hundred dollars a day from a single
web site, although it’s more likely to be around
$10-$20 when you first start out. If you’re not
leveraging Google Adsense, you’re leaving money

- If
you sell products from your drop ship web site, consider
introducing Chitika
Minimalls to your site. This is quite a new concept
of delivering image based contextual adverts on your site,
if a user clicks on an advert, you will get paid. If you
already have products for sale, this is a great way to
increase your range and appeal to a wider audience. Check
out the example at the top right of this page. The potential
revenue can be very worthwhile, plus you have complete
control and flexibility in terms of what the ad
looks like.
- Build
your Google Page Rank, Page Rank is a rating that Google
applies to all web sites. As the most popular search engine,
Google traffic should be very important to all web masters.
There are a number of ways to build page rank, one is
to grow the number of back links you have to your site,
once your PR is more than 4, start selling text link space
on your site, these can be worth as much as $45 per month,
per text link. If you’re lucky enough to have a
PR10 web site, the link can be as much as $1,000 per link
per month.
- Encourage
anyone that visits your site to sign up for your newsletter.
Send subscribers information that they might find valuable
and useful, this cements your position as an authority
and will allow you to recommend products or services that
can make you money. Don’t overdo the recommendations,
only suggest products that you use yourself. Never ever
Spam your email subscribers. An average newsletter can
earn more than $100 a week with as little as 100 subscribers.
There you have it, some very simple suggestions that could
potential add an additional $10,000 plus a year in revenue
